I am using the Sql Data Adapter and framework version 4.0 and found that the insert, update, and delete commands disappeared when I disposed the builder, so I saved the commands and added them back to the adapter after disposing the builder.
This causes the Sql Command Builder to register itself as a listener, which produces the output of Sql Data Adapter.
Fill Error = new Fill Error Event Handler(da_Fill Error); Data Set ds = new Data Set(); da.
code to set up the data adapter // add the event handlers da.
If you assign null to corresponding property of Sql Data Adapter, the Sql Command Builder will be disassociated from the Sql Data Adapter, and the generated commands will no longer be used.
Delete Command properties retain their previous values.
The My SQLData Adapter, serves as a bridge between a Data Set and My SQL for retrieving and saving data.My SQLData Adapter is used in conjunction with My Sql Connection and My Sql Command to increase performance when connecting to a My SQL database. The My SQLData Adapter also includes the Select Command, Insert Command, Delete Command, Update Command, and Table Mappings properties to facilitate the loading and updating of data. Sql Command Builder The Sql Data Adapter does not automatically generate the SQL statements required to reconcile changes made to a System. After assigning the Sql Data Adapter to the Sql Command Builder, it begins to generate any additional SQL statements that you do not set. The Sql Command Builder also uses the Connection, Command Timeout, and System. However, you can create a Sql Command Builder object that generates SQL statements for single-table updates. Please be aware that the Data Column class allows only Int16, Int32, and Int64 to have the Auto Increment property set.If you plan to use autoincremement columns with My SQL, you should consider using signed integer columns. However, primary key information will not be included in the implicitly created schema unless the Missing Schema Action property is set to Add With Key.You may also have the My SQLData Adapter create the schema of the Data Set, including primary key information, before filling it with data using Fill Schema(Data Table, Schema Type). To create this correspondence, you set the Data Adapter property of the Sql Command Builder object. Select Command property to retrieve a required set of metadata. Select Command after the metadata has been retrieved (for example, after the first update), you then should call the Devart. The relationship between a Sql Data Adapter and its corresponding Sql Command Builder is always one-to-one. To generate INSERT, UPDATE, or DELETE statements, the Sql Command Builder uses the Sql Data Adapter.
