I told him that I couldn't do any of that without me hearing his voice and video chatting with him. Although he's sent me pictures and videos, I'm just on the fence about the situation. Sounds like Marcel Zachary, who claimed to be from San Diego, CA.
And what makes me feel its a scam is the same first name in which many of you have mentioned "James" but a different surname of Jackson who claims he's A Staff Sergeant stationed in Kabul Afghanistan on a Peace keeping mission. Did he have earplugs in at the airport and was wearing a button up shirt with a red tie? Tangosmom, I think I have found your scammer he too is extremely handsome.
They ask you to: Did you know you can do an image search of your love interest’s photo in your favorite search engine?
If you do an image search and the person’s photo appears under several different names, you’re probably dealing with a scammer.
The scammers transfer stolen money into the new account, and then tell their victims to wire the money out of the country. He also has a fake daughter which he will want you to chat with!!!I don't think it matters how he looks like in pictures. He sent my aunt one but I don't even think it is him.The picture my aunt got from a Samuel Brown who's supposedly from Houston, Texas had sailboats in the background.Within the first day of chatting he asked for a .00 ITunes card so he could download music while out on patrol. Then proceeded to say his birthday is June 24th and asked if I would send him something's.And if the person’s online profile disappears a few days after they meet you, that’s another tip-off.Here’s the real deal: Don’t send money to someone you met online — for any reason. These people get pretty savvy so please don't fall for their strategies. He never said he loved me or wanted marriage or kids.If they won't get on a video call and if they are professing their love without even seeing you or you seeing him, that is a glaring red flag. He called me baby which I told him not because we never met in person then he would call me honey which I don’t like.
